Its a good question and instead of making a discussion of it on the front page, I will take it to the forum.

ok I have to ask what is you average TPS not burst, not best with max buffs just your average. I ask cuz you log tells that your SS hit for 1200, AA 127, revenge 308, and HS for 287. I certainly have those #'s and with good rage only rock 800 TPS and with great rage and great buffs maybe 1200 TPS but average in Kara is like 500-700 until bosses(yes I know over geared so shoot me). I use the same rotation we have completely discussed hear. yet most say it is very low TPS for end T4 early T5 content, yet no one but the OP lock (1200dps sustained and 1700dps burst op as hell for level of play) and one hunt pulls of me. any thoughts (yes I started a thread on TPS but after seeing this now I am really pissed off) or a explanation?

Sorry for the Thread Necromancy here, but I just have to throw this in. Flask of Chromatic Wonder is GREAT. Especially in progression content (since its a flask and doesn't end on death.) You benefit from boosts to STR, DEX and STAM as well as a nice increase to all your resistances. It's a great way to cover all your bases a little bit more for 2 hours.

Spot on about dumbing down Cleave. They're doing the same thing to the Bear Tank populace on Swipe. Swipe suffers from the same lack of serious threat production as Cleave does though, so it's really only useful once you've got either a solid threat lead over your healers and you're Focus firing your DPS to kill targets one at a time. They're basically taking a marginally useful ability (at least in regards to my tanking technique) and dumbing it down for tanks who rely too heavily on it and don't know how to avoid breaking CC. Tanks who actually KNOW their craft will be changing targets and juggling high level threat abilities on them anyway, so the serious tank probably won't be affected by this too much.

Regarding the 2.4 Druid Changes, I wasn't wild about the GCD change for Mangle initially, but everything else was on a 1.5 sec GCD while Mangle was on a 1 sec GCD. This is probably a change that needed to be made to balance things out a bit more. I think, in the long run, it won't be TOO detrimental to a bear's TPS, especially with the improvements to the damage component of Lacerate. Should even out in the wash. I'm averaging 800-1100 TPS through KZ right now, so we'll see if that changes at all after 2.4 goes live.

"Patch 2.4 will likely go live this coming Tuesday and if not, then most assuredly next Tuesday."

Really? What's your source? I hope you're right, but I wasn't expecting it for a few more weeks yet...

I know that this is off topic, but I believe I can help with some advice about the Army. I just got out of my first 4 year enlistment in the Army as a 25F-Network Switch Operator. I believe that which branch of service you decide to go with has to do with what your goals are with the military. I went in only looking for the college money and trying to learn some self discipline. If you are planning on going career I would suggest going Army because, as TheSinEater said, the Air Force is changing and won't be as stable. But if you are going in just for the experience, I would say choose a different branch. The Army is not easy. Don't let your recruiter lie to you and tell you that you will have loads of free time. During my tour of duty I spent the majority of my time either in the field (training in a tent to do my job, no showers for days, eating packaged meals, getting 4 hours of sleep b/c of the work load) or deployed in Iraq. I went in hoping to have time to sign up for college, but I wasn't able to do it b/c of all the time required for training and my responsibilities. If you are going to be an officer I think it will be different for you though. I was an E-4 enlisted for the majority of my time in the military. TheSinEater's suggestion that you spend some time as an enlisted person before going to OCS is a good suggestion. It will give you some perspective on what life is like without all the privileges that rank affords. It would also make you a better leader and the soldiers under your command will have more respect for you. Well if you have any questions from an E-4 about my time in the Army, feel free to ask.
