Tank Hard!

So we’re roughly 6 weeks away from the Wrath of the Lich King expansion and the timer is ticking.

I would assume everyone has some goals in mind they want to complete before the expac hits and I am no exception.

As a raid leader and a tank, my biggest goals before the expac were to finish out Black Temple, go back and kill Kael’Thas and down a boss or two in Sunwell.

I am happy to report that 2 of those goals have been met.  We dropped Illidan for the first time a few weeks ago.  Two weeks ago we decided to head back to Tempest Keep and put in the time to kill Kael’Thas since we skipped that encounter when attunement was dropped for BT/MH.  It took us a couple of nights, but we downed KT after getting familiar with the various phases.

So that basically leaves Sunwell Plateau and as of last night, we are now working on that goal as well.  Kalecgos has some new mechanics, but I have no doubts that we’ll defeat him soon.

Other than that, I don’t really have any personal goals.  I wouldn’t mind picking up a Bulwark of Azzinoth purely for the status but that’s about it.  My goals are more oriented towards keeping the guild cohesive and happy until time for the level grind and experiencing the new expansion.
