personally, as a 41/5/15 warrior, i am not happy at all. switching the sweaping strikes from arms to fury blows. when trying to handle more than one mob, Sweaping strikes has been priceless. fury already gets a boost to their cleave; the sweaping strikes combo'ed with cleave for four attcks was great. the only nice thing i see is the added aggro given to MS-which is my bread and butter. i am also extremely mad about the reduction in the immunity to disarm. it was always so nice to go against a rogue in PvP and know that the little backstabber couldn't disarm me and leave me feeling very helpless. now, i will feel a certain sense of nervousness about being disarmed, which kinda blows too. the improvment of shield bash is nice too; stopping mind flay will be pretty sweet and prolly make some shadow priests angry. overall, i am just kinda disappointed that Blizz is taking away some of my favorite and most trusted skills/talents. though i had heard that blizz does not like the idea that warriors are rogues in plate...
i like tanking-more than i thought i would considering i leveled with a fully DPS warrior-but the new changes aren't enough for me to want to make a full change to proct at all. come WotLK, the proct warriors are gonna want to re-spec to lvl again and i don't feel like paying the gold to get back to a spec i already know and love.
right now, i have only tanked SL, and i understand that will make my opinion somewhat less valid and knowledgable. however, i have had no problems at all tanking, even with half assed blues. when i did my Kara frag run in SL i had a mage in spellstrike doing 6k crits, a hunter in full beastlord and another OfT warrior with a pallie healer and i didn't lose aggro once. even when the mage pulled, i picked up aggro no problem with taunt and then a spam of sunders and revenge. the only thing i have real trouble with is using shield bash/ spell reflection effectivly. my timing is all off- the half second cooldown on the tool bar is always still in effect when i see a mob getting ready to cast. it is truly gratifying however to see a shadow bolt or fireball go right back to the caster lol.
anyway, for kara, my guild is pretty content to let me OfT stuff, mostly because we have a ton of fully proct spec warriors who do a damn good job of holding aggro, so that makes me pretty happy.

I didn't get on to the ptr before they closed transfers so I can't play with the devastate changes. I will be interested to see how the threat works on the first 4 devastates. For example, when I engage a mob now, I can either sunder it 5 times for 301 threat on each sunder, or I can just start devastating for 101 threat + threat from damage. But since the damage sucks, I either need a really slow weapon or a full stack of sunders to make devastate more threat than sunders.
-
So with these changes, lets say that I devastate right off the bat instead of stacking sunders and then devastating. I devastate once and I get 101 threat + threat from damage like usual, but since devastate now applies a sunder, do I get another 301 threat from the sunder? And when there is already a full stack of 5 sunders and I devastate, do I still get the 301 threat from the sunder application + 101 from devastate + threat from damage? If so, that would be a HUGE buff to warrior threat generation. If devastate doesn't get the threat from the sunder application, then it is still better to sunder 5 times before devastate spam and the change is just a convenience for lazy warriors who don't want to push two different buttons.
